FarmFolk CityFolk

FarmFolk CityFolk are long-time supporters of the Lohbrunner Community Farm. In 2016, they responded to an opportunity to help LCFC continue to farm. FFCF now holds the land title with a long-term lease to the co-operative. 

LCFC is grateful that FFCF supports our farm and group of growers through continued collaboration and partnership. We are proud to support FFCF’s mandate to connect, collaborate and engage to foster resilient, sustainable, equitable food systems in BC.

South Island Farm Hub

South Island FarmHub operates as a full-time produce aggregation and distribution centre and has partnered with our market farmers to deliver fresh produce to residents of the South Island. 

LCFC is also proud to be a pick-up location for farmers on the Westshore. We are grateful to South Island Farm Hub for expanding their services to local farmers by offering pick-up and delivery services at LCFC.

Royal Bay Secondary School and the Ravenous Cafe program

For the past few years, students from Royal Bay Secondary School have joined us in the Spring and Fall to volunteer. They have seeded our pumpkins, helped with weeding, harvested, and made soup from farm vegetables. It is always great to connect with the next generation, hear their thoughts and questions about farming, work alongside them in the fields, and eat their delicious soup!
